Micro-needling & Chemical peels

In this course the students learn the process of treating a variety of skin conditions that cause imperfections in the skin such as acne scarring, surgical scars, pigmentation, premature aging, enlarged pores, wrinkles, and stretch marks using a derma-pen. This procedure improves the appearance of wrinkles, acne scars and stretch marks by stimulating the skin's natural healing process and ability to repair itself.

 

Chemical peels : What are chemical peels? This is a procedure in which a AHA or BHA acid is applied to the skin to remove the dead epithelial cells. In this course students will learn all about the anatomy and physiology of the skin, indepth skin analysis, procedures and protocols for skin preparation prior to chemical peeling to reduce complications such as pigmentation, scarring and excessive inflammation. You will learn about different chemical peels available in the industy and which are commonly use in a clinical and aesthetic medical procedures.
